Sunday-6+ miles from home to the beach. Shara left about 5 to 6 minutes before me down to the beach. Without her knowing, I set out to catch her before I hit the Westerly Town Beach..no luck. As a matter of fact, she continued on after reaching to the beach to run about 9 miles. Pace about 6:15/mile.
Monday-am: 25 minute core sequence with my cousin, Pat. Pushups, planks, body weight squats, etc.
1 mile ocean swim with Shara.
4.5 mile solo run late in the afternoon.
Tuesday-50 minutes of cycling. Felt sore and tired.
Wednesday-2200yd swim at the Y after work. 500, 500, 500, 100, 100, 100, 2X 100 kick, warmdown. I went home for a bit post swim prior to heading out for the WTAC McCoy Fun Run. I did the run in about 1740ish with JP Bigouette. We both agreed that the effort felt much faster. Overall, I just felt tired from start to finish. On a big positive note, Garwin broke the Fun Run Course Record in 16:30 on a night that wasn't designed for fast running. Congrats, Chris! You are an animal.
Thursday-9 miles around the pond w/Shara. 6:30 pace
Friday-1 mile swim w/Schonning & Duda from Town Beach. Scary moment when we ran into a pack of feasting blue fish slightly off shore.
Saturday: 17 mile LONG run with Gazelle, Boumenot, & Garv.
Totals:
Run: 5x, 42 miles
Swim: 3X, 5600yds
Bike: 1X, 15 miles
Core: 1X, 25 minutes
Dog Walk: 1X, 40 minutes
